This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and shared when you use the AppsPrize mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). AppsPrize is operated by App Samurai and its affiliates ("App Samurai", "we", "us", "our"). This notice supplements the App Samurai Privacy Policy and, where they differ, the more specific terms of this notice apply to AppsPrize.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide.
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address associated with that account.
- Payout details. When you cash out, we collect the information needed to send your reward, such as the email address linked to your PayPal account or the details required to deliver a gift card.
- Survey and support content. Responses you give in surveys, and the content of any message you send to support.
Information collected automatically.
- Device and identifiers. Device model and type, operating system and version, app version, language, and your mobile advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID).
- Network data. IP address and general location derived from it (such as country or region), and mobile network information.
- Usage and reward activity. Games you install and play through the Service, offers and surveys you start or complete, coins earned, and cash-outs requested. We use this to credit rewards accurately and to detect fraud.
- Diagnostic data. Crash and performance information that helps us keep the app working.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide the Service, credit your rewards, and process your payouts.
- Verify that reward activity is genuine and prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate or fake installs.
- Show you relevant games, offers, and surveys, which are how the Service is funded.
- Respond to your support requests and appeals.
- Analyze and improve the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Advertising and your Advertising ID
AppsPrize is advertiser-funded. Advertisers and game studios pay to put their games, offers, and surveys in front of players, and that budget funds your rewards. To measure whether a reward activity was completed and to show relevant offers, we and our advertising partners use your Google Advertising ID and related device data.
You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings under Google, then Ads. Doing so does not stop you from earning, but it may make offers less relevant.
We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 5 for how "sale" and "sharing" are defined under California law.
4. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Advertising, offer, and survey partners. So that your completion of an offer or survey can be verified and credited. These partners process the identifiers and activity data needed to confirm a reward.
- Payment and reward providers. Such as PayPal and gift-card providers, to deliver the payout you request.
- Google Sign-In. To authenticate your account.
- Service providers. Companies that host, support, secure, and analyze the Service on our behalf, under contract and only for those purposes.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of users, the public, or App Samurai.
- Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in control of your information.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising outside the advertiser-funded reward measurement described above.
5. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases:
- Performance of a contract, to provide the Service and pay your rewards.
- Legitimate interests, to prevent fraud, secure the Service, and improve it, balanced against your rights.
- Consent, for personalized advertising where required, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation, to meet our compliance requirements.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly if an incident occurs.
8. International transfers
App Samurai operates internationally, including in the United States and Europe. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers out of the EEA or UK.
9. Your privacy rights
EEA, UK, and similar regions. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@appsamurai.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
10. Children
AppsPrize is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your location, to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links and services
The Service links to third-party games, offers, and websites that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
